Who Is Geoff Ogunlesi? Meet Jennifer Meyer’s New Husband

They married on Saturday, October 10, on a lawn at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai with the Pacific behind them. Vogue reported that her father, Ron Meyer, walked her down the aisle.

Then there’s the detail everyone’s talking about. Maguire stood up front and led the vows. The Los Angeles Times described him pronouncing them husband and wife in photos TMZ published first.

The guest list looked like a Hollywood seating chart, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos all photographed there. Meyer said later that all three of her kids and both sets of parents walked down the aisle.

She switched into an Alexander McQueen dress after the ceremony, and the reception turned into a dance party in a tent on the grounds.

Why the officiant choice is less strange than it sounds

It’s less of a twist than it sounds. Meyer and Maguire split in 2016 and spent years co-parenting before the paperwork caught up. By the wedding they’d been apart for a decade. Asking him to officiate fits how they’ve handled things for the kids all along.

Who is Geoff Ogunlesi?

Look past the “billionaire heir” headlines and you find someone who’s spent his whole career in the music business. E! News reports he worked in A&R at Warner Music Group, then at 300 Entertainment, before starting his own management company in 2022.

If you’ve never worked at a label, A&R is the team that finds artists and develops them. It’s deadline-heavy and not very glamorous, and it’s where he spent most of his twenties.

Today The Ogunlesi Group manages Young Thug, Alabama Barker and Broadway actor Myles Frost, among others. E! adds that he graduated from Amherst College, citing his LinkedIn profile.

He built his own career

His dad made his name in law and finance. Geoff went another way, and that’s worth keeping in mind if you’re trying to size up his own money. A manager earns commissions on his artists. He doesn’t earn his father’s fund returns.

From first sighting to “I do”

Here’s how it unfolded, using only dates that People, E! and the Los Angeles Times reported. If we couldn’t source it, it’s not here.

How did they meet? E! said in early October that nobody really knew, but Meyer has since cleared it up in Vogue. A friend named Dorothy introduced them in 2022, and their first unofficial date was at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood.

The proposal fooled her completely. She told Vogue she thought she was heading to a friend’s birthday dinner and walked into her own engagement party instead.

Their daughter and a blended family

Their daughter arrived in 2026. E! gives the date as May 20, and Meyer shared the news in a Father’s Day post in June. They haven’t released her name, and we won’t guess.

Meyer’s two older kids with Maguire are a 19-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son, People reports, and both were at the wedding. So Ogunlesi became a first-time dad and a stepdad in the same year.

She hasn’t said much about how the two households work. What she has shared, in Instagram posts the Los Angeles Times picked up, is the baby out and about with her older daughter and her new husband.

His parents and the Ogunlesi family

Geoff’s father, Adebayo “Bayo” Ogunlesi, was born in Nigeria in 1953. He studied at Oxford and Harvard and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.

He later ran investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston, then co-founded Global Infrastructure Partners in 2006. That’s the firm behind the London Gatwick and Edinburgh airport deals. BlackRock agreed to buy GIP in January 2024 for about $12.5 billion.

E! cites a Forbes estimate of $2.6 billion for Adebayo as of October 12, 2026. Keep in mind that’s the father’s number. It isn’t Geoff’s.

His mother is Dr. Amelia Quist-Ogunlesi, an optometrist. His parents married in 1985 and have two children.

Jennifer Meyer’s side

Meyer runs her own brand, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry. Her dad, Ron Meyer, co-founded the CAA talent agency and later ran Universal Studios, and her mom is Ellen Meyer.

So the Jennifer Meyer wedding joined a Hollywood family to a global finance one.

Where things stand now

October moved quickly. Ceremony photos spread on October 12, and on October 16 People ran Meyer’s first comments about having her ex officiate.

Beyond her Vogue comments, neither of them has sat down for an interview about the marriage. If that changes, we’ll update this page and the date up top.
